#BATW2023 Paper Prize Winner Announced

After reading through a strong group of submissions for this year’s Britain and the World paper prize, we have the distinct privilege to announce the winner! Congratulations to Joseph Bienko for “Nothing Reigns but Confusion and Anarchy: Disease and Military Discipline in the Late-Eighteenth-Century Caribbean.” With this win, Joseph also earned a conditional acceptance for publication in our peer-reviewed journal, Britain and the World.

Again, many congratulations to Joseph for a paper well written.

We would be remiss if we did not take a moment to also congratulate Thomas Sojka for garnering a special honorable mention for “‘These Mad Englishwomen!’: Bright Young Britons in Venice.”
